Magdalena is an experienced acupuncturist and has worked within the field of complimentary healthcare since 1998. She started as a massage therapist and then went on to study Traditional Chinese Medicine - Acupuncture. After completing her acupuncture degree in 2002 she has worked within a wide variety of clinical settings. She has amongst other things worked as an assistant supervisor in the university clinic for Traditional Chinese Medicine - Acupuncture. Magdalena ensures she attends regular seminars and post-graduate training to continuously develop and update her knowledge.
Magdalena takes a particular interest in fertility and pregnancy and has attended several courses in infertility and obstetric acupuncture. She is a member of the London Acupuncture Childbirth team http://www.actlondon.org.uk
Magdalena is further under training to become an Active Birth Teacher with Janet Balaskas.
Magdalena puts a strong emphasis on treating the individual and an acupuncture treatment is often combined with massage, cupping and herbal remedies depending on the individual's needs. She sees a wide range of conditions in the clinic.

Holistic Massage

Charlotte began her career as a massage therapist in 1996, she worked in private practice for two years during which time she attended various workshops and learnt a variety of techniques including deep tissue massage and basic Shiatsu.

She developed an interest in yoga whilst travelling extensively in India, and became increasingly aware of the "eastern" approach to health and healing. This prompted her to begin training as an Acupuncturist in 1998, including extra studies in Qi Gong Tuina (Traditional Chinese Massage) further developing her interest in "hands on approach", but using the T.C.M (Traditional Chinese Medicine methodology. She qualified in T.C.M. Acupuncture in 2003.

Charlotte began working at the Islington Chiropractic Clinic in 2005, she primarily works as a "body worker" in the clinic specialising in muscular skeletal conditions. She takes a holistic approach and incorporates nutrition, stretching and lifestyle advice from both eastern and western traditions.

Charlotte is currently studying to become a Yoga teacher so that she can offer further practical support to her clients for sustaining good physical health.
